Apple will launch the “iPad 7” with a 10.2-inch screen and a new iPad 10.5-inch model in the near future

Recently, Twitter account CoinX has revealed some new information about Apple’s upcoming iPad models. Previously, CoinX had released some accurate leak information about products such as the 2018 iPad Pro or iPhone XS Max at the time they were not released.

CoinX said Apple will launch two iPads in the near future. The first iPad will be called “iPad 7” and will have a 10.2-inch screen. This is expected to replace the current 9.7-inch iPad. Previously, “Apple co-founder” Ming-Chi Kuo also said Apple will be developing an iPad with a 10.2-inch screen.

The second iPad revealed by CoinX is a “new” iPad with a 10.5-inch screen. Apple launched the iPad Pro with a 10.5-inch screen in 2017, and CoinX said the upcoming 10.5-inch iPad will not be part of the iPad Pro line. Thus, maybe this 10.5-inch iPad will be in the middle of the segment of the low-cost iPad ($ 329) and the iPad Pro ($ 799).

However, CoinX said the two new iPads will “not be available at the same time”. We still don’t know exactly what this sentence means, but maybe these two iPad models won’t be released at the same time. It is highly likely that the 10.2-inch iPad 7 will be released first, while the 10.5-inch model will be delayed until some time in 2019.

Apple has recently confirmed it will host an event on March 25th. Chances are, this will be the time when the new iPad model will be launched.
